INTRODUCTION:

Cricket is an amazing, interesting & thrilling game and as well as a popular game in India. In India, almost everyone loves this game. It’s a bat & ball game which is played between 2 teams with each team consisting of 11 players. This game was originated in England and has since gained popularity in various parts of the world. It is governed internationally by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

 



 

 

RULES IN-GAME:

Cricket matches are typically played on a circular or oval-shaped field known as a cricket ground. In between both 2 teams, one team has the right to take the decision to bowl 1st or bat 1st when they win the toss. A team will be announced as a win when they have scored more runs than other teams. If both the team's scores are equal, then the match will be tied and Super-over(1 over) will be played. The team which has a High score will win.

 

VARIOUS FORMATS IN CRICKET:

·      TEST MATCH (UNLIMITED OVERS)

·      ODI MATCH (50 OVERS)

·      T-20 MATCH (20 OVERS)

 

 

1.    TEST MATCH (UNLIMITED OVERS):

The test match is played internationally for 5 days when both 2 teams need to bat 2 times with unlimited overs. When one team gets all-out or they declare after then the other team can do batting. A team can win when they lead more runs by adding 2 times batted runs. Under Test Match, ICC conducts ICC World test championship matches, The Ashes Test,..etc many other test match series.

 

2.    ODI MATCH (50 OVERS):

ODI match is nothing but One Day International match which is played internationally with only limited 50 overs for one day. Powerplay is fixed for 1st 10 overs that is only 2 fielders should be kept for fielding outside the inner circle. ICC Cricket world cup, Asia Cup, ICC Champions Trophy, and Nidahas Trophy are great matches played for 50 overs.

 

 

3.    T-20 MATCH (20 OVERS):

A twenty-20 match is the lowest limited-overs match played international level & national, and domestic levels. Powerplay is fixed for 1st 6 overs that is only 2 fielders should be kept for fielding outside the inner circle. IPL (Indian Premier League), League matches in every state in India & also, many league matches in many countries around the world.
